DIFFERENCES: How are Brandguard Vents™ different than other vents?

Invented by a firefighter, Brandguard Vents™ were the first commercially available Flame and Ember resistant vents on the market. They are dramatically more effective at resisting the intrusion of flames and embers than conventional vents. And you can use them everywhere you have conventional vents -- on your roof, under eaves, and along the foundations and sides of residential or commercial buildings.

FEATURES: What are the key features and benefits?

Brandguard Vents resists the intrusion of flame and embers into your attic through the building’s vents, so you can protecting your home from dangerous wildfires. Brandguard Vents have a patented baffle front design so you can stop flying firebrands from entering structures.

Brandguard Vents provide comparable airflow - so you can protect your building while providing similar or in some cases more airflow than standard vents.

Brandguard Vents meet the new fire code effective January 2008 - Brandguard Vents were the first commercially available fire prevention vents on the market to meet the new Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) building codes effective January 2008 which state that "VENTS SHALL RESIST FLAME AND EMBER INTRUSION."
