The 2026 Sunrise Powerlink Fire Mitigation Grant Program pays for ember-resistant vents on homes inside the powerlink corridor. Here’s what you need.
The Sunrise Powerlink runs from Imperial Valley to San Diego. Homes within the high-risk corridor along the line qualify for grant funding. If you’re not sure whether your address is in, send it to us and we’ll check.
For reference only. Confirm your parcel on the official program map.
BrandGuard’s patented design works in three layers. That’s what you want sitting between a wind-driven ember and the timber inside your wall.
An angled, overlapping baffle plate forces every ember to change direction before it reaches the inside. No straight line in.
When ambient temperature passes a threshold the intumescent strip expands and seals the vent closed. Self-closing without any moving parts.
The vent body and mesh are non-combustible. ASTM E119 one-hour fire rated. Tested for ember intrusion and direct flame impingement.
The grant covers cost up to approx. $2,600–$2,700 per home. You apply, we install, the program reimburses. Here’s the order.
We confirm your parcel is in the corridor. Takes 24 hours, usually less.
We count vents, measure openings and scope the install. Free, no obligation.
We help you submit the grant application. Approval usually inside two weeks.
We install in a day. The program reimburses you directly, up to approx. $2,600–$2,700.
Funds are awarded on a rolling basis. The corridor has roughly 12,000 eligible homes and the grant pool is finite. Check your eligibility today, and if you qualify we’ll get you booked in this week.
